Wild Onion Weed Risotto

Three Corner Leeks or Onion Weed, whatever you call this wild friend it is delicious. A cross between Garlic Chives and spring onions in flavour you can add to any dish where a pungent hit of oniony goodness is required. Like this delicious rissotto I whipped up last night.

As with all sulphur containing plants onion weed will help to ward off colds and help to clear any remaining chesty coughs lingering from winter.

Try it in steamed dumplings with prawn, rice paper rolls, herbed breads and use the delicious flowers in salads.
